Ventilation Equipment
Collections of elements for ventilation provide of circulation, heating, cooling, inlet and outlet of air. Together with duct systems of air-movement usually fixed on construction of building are use fans, heat recovery units, air-heaters, air-cooling units eventually also warm air heaters.⇒ Air-moving units ⇒ Duct
Domestic swimming pool ventilation
Wall or duct mounted heat recovery units help ensure the environment in small and domestic pools. Used to reduce the de-humidifier load particularly in the summer or to provide the complete ventilation solution when combined with duct heaters. Robust plastic construction of the heat exchanger cases and heat exchanger itself ensures good service life.

Instalation of a water heater as unit frost protection
If the ventilation must operate in all conditions then the typical soluition is to add an electric frost protection heater on the fresh air inlet of the heat recovery unit. This is normally very simply controlled by the exhaust temperature of the heat recovery unit. It is simple and effective, however not always efficient. If the heat recovery unit has a high efficiency then the air heaters may be need when the fresh air drops below zero. But as the heater will be sized for the most extreme design conditions for much of the time the electric heater will be overheating the fresh air and so reducing the potential heat recovery.
A very simple alternative may be to install a water heating coil in the air returning to the heat recovery unit. Increasing the temperature difference between the return air and fresh air will have the same effect in terms of frost protection, but both the potential energy in the return air and that added by the water heater can be recovered. This increases the energy efficiency during milder periods. In addition the water coil is in a warm airflow and not exposed to the risk of frost.
