Air Heating
Air heaters – both portable and stationary ones – are used to treat air, to warm it up, and for the purposes of moderate heating, venting, but above all for technological purposes. Air is heated in hot water, electrical and – in most cases – gas systems. Paint shops, steel hardening facilities etc. are places with the most frequent use. The air heating system is also used in glass and ceramic facilities, brick and other construction material making plants, foundries, zinc coating industry and many other manufacturing processes.
Air heating is considerably applied to drying processes for the purposes of both acceleration and improvement of quality of the whole cycle. Simply speaking, air heaters may be used in manufacture in any manufacturing process requiring hot air to be made and supplied.

Direct air heating for technological ventilation

Air supplied for ventilation of plants in the winter season may be preheated using differering methods. But if fluent adjustability of the output temperature and high efficiency of power use is preferred, using a direct gas-fired air heater is unambiguously the most advantageous method. Its efficiency is nearly 100 % if the system is combined with fluent regulation.
The most common use is air heating for various production technologies such as paint boxes, baking furnaces, pressing automatic machines or also agricultural drying. The sizes and power outputs of air heaters are not limiting in fact and may vary from tens of kW up to megawatts.
Replacement of steam and high pressure hot water coils in ventilation units

Gas direct-fired burner chambers (Box B) are replacing obsolete coils while the existing ventilation units including fans, motors and regulation even with the existing duct system is preserved. The chamber itself contains a direct-heating gas burner including all related control and regulating elements. The burner may be regulated in the ratio of 25:1, i.e. in the scope of 4 – 100 % of the power output, which ensures precise and effective control of the air output temperature.
The burner efficiency reaches 93 % if the unit operates at the maximum power output. A control panel including elements regulating both the gas and electric components and monitoring the flame is part of each chamber. The chamber is connected to the current electric motor and to the gas distribution system and the control system. The minimal pressure loss in the whole equipment is an important advantage.
