Air-conditioning
Technology which may ensure the functions of heating, cooling, moistening, demoistening. In inner premises of buildings, it creates conditions partially independent of outer impacts, meeting requirements of people necessary for their physical or mental activities in the whole scope. The air conditioning does not improve natural environment but provides a feeling of comfort, which is affected – besides the temperature of air in the room, speed of air flow and humidity – also by the temperature of walls, ceiling, floor, windows, and by the level of dust, odours and noise as well. In the summer period, the air conditioning cools and filters air, removes humidity from it above all.
First of all, the air-conditioning unit eliminates excessive heat from the room, however. The higher the heat load, the bigger, energetically more demanding and more expensive the air conditioning device must be. Reduction of heat load, above all caused by the sunshine, and production of excessive humidity are important additional measures.

Additional improvement of the internal environment of commercial buildings

Air-conditioning units (air conditioning in short) are installed in large office blocks in order to ensure thermal comfort, especially in the summer season. A separate internal air-conditioning unit is typically sized for each office. The units operate throughout the year in the external temperature range -15°C to +43°C. The building is divided into individual cooling zones which are served by one or more external condensing units.
Individual sizes of internal and external units are designed according to the office size and its thermal gains. The units are interconnected with insulated copper pipes transporting R410A refrigerant. The internal air-conditioning units are controlled by the central control system. The external air-conditioning units are installed on a steel frame on the building roof.
Cooling of a steaming area and surroundings

Air is supplied to the steaming area through a fresh air supply unit with filtration, hot-water heating and two coolers with direct expansion cooling. Cool air is distributed through ceiling outlets connected by means of flexible insulated ducts. Treated air is supplied to neighbouring areas through venting holes.
All ducts are thermally and acoustically insulated. The heating and cooling output is regulated for the constant temperature of the supplied air. The unit exhausting air from the steaming area consists of a grease filter and a G3 filter in addition to a fan with frequency inverter. All air is exhausted through induction ectract hoods.
